In this article we have the Motorola X Pure Review for you. This phone was released in 2015. It will soon be upgraded to the newest version of android Nougat. This phone comes with a 5.7″ screen, 3 GB of Ram and comes in 32GB and 64GB models. It come from Motorola unlocked to be used on any provider for under $400. Thats a steal with those specs. The phone has some pretty nice features as well. CNET reviewed the phone and said “The Motorola Motorola X Pure Edition is a great device for specific users.”
One of the best features of the Motorola X Pure is the twist to launch the camera feature. You just have to twist your wrist twice to quickly launch the camera app. Pretty nice feature and it can be done from a locked phone. Another nice feature that can be launched from a locked phone is the flash light. With the phone upside down make a chopping action to turn on or off the flash light. These are two features that are very useful.
Some other note-worthy features are the notification panel and the always on display. With the notification panel one finger pulls one version of the panel and a two finder pull brings down the full panel. Also if the one finger is used a second one finger pull can bring down the full panel as well. Next, the always on display had useful notifications and music player controls. Waving your hand over the phone brings it up. It will show the time and any new notifications. The notifications can be accessed by touching the unlock and swiping up toward the notification you want to open. Pretty useful for many reasons.
This phone has a pretty amazing camera. It is a 21 megapixel camera with both front and rear facing flash. This is a very uncommon feature and one that should be included on more phones. It takes some very beautiful photos.
It has an sdcard slot which is capable of up to 200 GB. Also something that seems to be not included in the newest phones is a 3.5mm head phone jack. I’d hate to really see this go even though my personal choice is bluetooth, its always good to have a backup port that has low battery pull.
Overall this phone is a great buy with really great specs. It also is customizable if purchased from the Motorola website. Color choices, boot up logo and personalization can be all chosen thru the Motorola portal. I give this phone a 4.5 out of 5.
LG V20 Review: The LG V20 is the follow-up phone for LG to last year’s V10. They strengthened some of the more popular features and left behind some of the weaker ones. This phone seems to be hot item. The body is metal and feels solid in your hands. It comes with a 5.7 inch display that has 1440 x 2560 pixels and 513 pixel density. That is simply amazing. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor and 4GB of RAM.
They have greatly upgraded the camera with a dual-lens system that will perfectly take wide lens shots, no more need for that selfie stick with this bad boy. The real facing camera is 16 mega pixels with optical image stabilization plus the wide lens is 8 megapixels. The front facing camera is 5 megapixels and also features the wide lens option. The camera is pretty awesome for LG’s newest toy.
The battery is removable and is 3,200 mAh. It also features a USB type-C and has Quick Charge 3.0, whatever that is it translates to a battery charge in a hurry. There is a fingerprint sensor which is becoming a nice standard in today’s market. It is located on the back of the phone. Personally I like this feature to be located on the rear of the phone. This makes for more viewing room on the display side. Overall this phone seems like a win for LG, and one that the company needed. They keep making phones and they are quality but just not good enough to make it to that upper room.
One more noteworthy feature of the V20 is the audio capabilities. The microphones can handle a must higher range of audio than most other phones. And the 32 bit DAC will give you great music right where you want it, in your hands. This is the best shot that LG has to compete with the note series. Let’s see what happens!!
Soon the unlocked version will be available!!
It seems tat someone has gotten a v20 really by mistake from T-Mobile. Pretty awesome. Here’s the link to the article
